Recent Airport Improvements: 

Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS):This allows pilots to get current weather conditions at Manitowish Waters, both airborne or by telephone.  You can contact the AWOS at 715-543-2004.  This is a GREAT safety enhancement for the airport.

Club Car:  The airport has obtained a Club Car golf cart/aircraft tow bar to further accommodate aircraft/passenger movement.

In February, the Manitowish Waters Airport will be mailing out an annual list of airport/township events in an effort to bring more people/awareness to the town of Manitowish Waters.
