Call the Department of Natural Resources Trout Lake Headquarters at 715-385-2727 for information pertaining to the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest Campgrounds. Most campsites with the NH-AL State Forest are first come-first served, but some may be reserved. There are only canoe or boat-in campsites on the Manitowish 10-lake chain, and they are first come-first served one-night campsites.
