The Skiing Skeeters water ski club is one of the oldest in the United States!  The first statewide barefoot tournament held in the U.S. was sponsored by the Skiing Skeeters in 1964.  The club continues to perform free shows every Wednesday and Saturday at 7 p.m. (plus a special July 4th show) June 22, 2011 through mid-August at Rest Lake Park.  Donations collected at the shows help fund the club's operating expenses.
