Trails are open and ready for your enjoyment!
North Lakeland Discovery Center: Single track 12 mile trail system; 2 miles of snowshoe trails. Donations appreciated. Kid & adult snowshoes available for rent from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mon - Sat at the main office. First come, first served. Rental fee: $5 per pair. Powell Trails: State Forest trail system; single track set by Discovery Center volunteer groomers. Call 715-543-2085 for more information. Small parking area and trailhead are located 6 miles from Hwy. 51 on Powell Road, or one-half mile from Hwy. 47 on Powell Road. www.discoverycenter.net

North Lakeland School: Single track set by Northwoods Ski Touring Association volunteer groomers. Begin on west side of North Lakeland School (12686 Hwy. K) at north end of football field, or from the trailhead located one mile north of Hwy. K off Papoose Lake Road. Donations appreciated. 715-543-8417
